Owner's Memories: Our parents were the Original Owners and purchased the house in 1956. They moved in with 3 daughters ages 8, 6 and 2, and in 1957, their 4th daughter was born. We all went to Lynhaven Elementary School down the street. We could walk to and from school since it was only a block away. Our mother didn't drive so we walked everywhere. We walked to Town and Country Village, now Santana Row, then on to the Emporium, in the Valley Fair Shopping Center, almost daily. On the way home we would stop at Bob’s Big Boy for a hamburger. We had Cherry Trees in the front and back yards, we would pick the cherries for my mom to bake pies. It was a good neighborhood, I'm sure it still is, because there are still people living there from when we grew up. We will miss our Palm Tree in the front yard, and we will miss this home. Great location and you can be anywhere in the Bay Area within an hour to Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay and San Francisco.
